📈 Bitcoin rebounds – BTC has recovered nearly 8% from its lows, trading around $79,000 after dipping as low as $74,000.

💎 Ethereum leads the bounce – ETH is up 5% overnight, outpacing Bitcoin, with altcoins broadly staging partial recoveries.

📉 Equities stabilise – The S&P 500 remains slightly in the red, down around 0.4%, suggesting a pause in broader risk-off sentiment.

😨 Sentiment still fragile – The Crypto Fear & Greed Index remains in “Extreme Fear,” pointing to persistent investor caution despite the rebound.

BITCOIN and other digital assets staged a modest recovery overnight, clawing back roughly half of the steep losses triggered by the prior session’s sell-off.

The leading crypto by market cap bounced off a low of $74,000 and briefly tested $80,000 before settling around $79,000 today.

Ethereum also showed signs of resilience, rising 5% over the past 24 hours, while many altcoins posted single-digit gains after suffering deeper declines in the wake of the US tariff-driven market shock. The rebound suggests some short-term bargain-hunting, though market sentiment remains deeply risk-averse.

On the equity side, the S&P 500 has stabilised somewhat, down just 0.4% at the time of writing, after a bruising week in which it shed more than 6%.

Still, fear continues to dominate. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index remains in “Extreme Fear” territory, underscoring investor anxiety over both macroeconomic policy shifts and the possibility of broader financial contagion.

For crypto investors, the question now turns to durability: Will this bounce prove sustainable, or is it simply a pause within a broader corrective move?

With uncertainty over US trade policy, interest rate expectations, and global growth trajectories still unresolved, digital assets remain tightly linked to macroeconomic sentiment.
